Genesis 2:18 NASB
18 Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.”
Merriam Webster: one that helps; especially: a relatively unskilled worker who assists a skilled worker usually by manual labor.
Ex. The carpenter measured the wall while one of his helpers brought in the tools.
Psalm 10:14 CSB
But you yourself have seen trouble and grief,
observing it in order to take the matter into your hands.
The helpless one entrusts himself to you;
you are a helper of the fatherless.
Exodus 18:4 ESV
4 and the name of the other, Eliezer (for he said, “The God of my father was my help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh”)
Deuteronomy 33:29 NASB
“Blessed are you, Israel; Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD, The shield of your help, And He who is the sword of your majesty! So your enemies will cringe before you, And you will trample on their high places.”
Matthew 19:10-12 ESV
10 The disciples said to him, “If such is the case of a man with his wife, it is better not to marry.” 11 But he said to them, “Not everyone can receive this saying, but only those to whom it is given. 12 For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Let the one who is able to receive this receive it.”
