Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
A gentle answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word stirs up anger.
If a ruler’s anger rises against you,
do not leave your post;
calmness can lay great offenses to rest.
Don’t leave your job
just because your boss is angry with you.
Remaining calm solves great problems.
13 when we are slandered, we answer kindly.
7 In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness 8 and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.
2 Timothy 2:24-26
24 And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. 25 Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, 26 and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.
The wise are known for their understanding.
Their pleasant words make them better teachers.
11 But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.
19 Husbands, love your wives and be gentle with them.
Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, 2 when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. 3 Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. 4 Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.

2 to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone.
1 Peter 3:15
15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all.
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
